The One Nation Netball Cup is back!

ONNC2

The 2nd edition of India’s only mixed teams netball tournament is back!

10 teams from schools across India come together at the Deepalaya School on the last weekend in May to compete at the 2nd One Nation Netball Cup.

Defending champions Froebel Public School from Anantnag, Jammu & Kashmir take on hosts Deepalaya who they beat in last year’s final. In the fray are up and coming Maharashtra teams SAMPARC, Bhambarde and Gurukul School, and newcomers to netball – Jungle Crows, Kolkata. There are also 4 all girls teams vying for the Girl Power! best team award that is being presented by WomenWin – the supporting partners of this year’s One Nation.

The tournament is held once again this year at the Deepalaya School and jointly organised by the Naz Foundation, Goal Program and the Netball & Education Trust. Joining us as supporting partners are WomenWin who are instrumental in bringing change into girls lives worldwide through sport – visit http://www.womenwin.org for more information on their program.

The fabulous souvenir t-shirts for the teams and volunteers are made by T10 sports – http://www.t10sports.com – look them up for all your sportswear requirements!

And a big thank you to the real stars of the show – the volunteers from Naz Foundation and individuals from around India who make this event possible each year – thank you!!!
